About Pensioners Day Centre

The Day Centre provides a meeting place and service to elderly people within the community who are frail, isolated or living with a disability. We also encourage carers and the wider community to attend. A respite service is also available and community transport can be arranged.

The Pensioners Day Centre operates every Tuesday from 9am till 2pm.

Guests (from all nationalities) are welcome to join for lunch and activities.

Due to Covid 19 the Day Centre have had to install some new rules.
1/. You must book at least 1 day in advance for lunch as the seating is limited.
2/. On arrival a temperature check will be taken before you are allowed to enter. If you have a high temperature or flu or virus symptoms you will be asked to go home.
3/. Tables will be set up for 4 people only. People from the same household can sit together.

Costs

The Pensioners Day Centre is free to attend and the charge for the 2 course lunch plus morning tea is $12.

Events

We have a good range of events happening on the Tuesdays commencing with Morning Tea at 10am
there are 2 Gentle Exercises sessions at 10am or 11 am. The occasional Guest Speaker, Puzzles and Quiz sessions, Cards,
a 2 course lunch and Bingo games.
