The Australian Italian Club has a proud history of providing opportunities for the community to compete in both competitive and social sports at our venue. Our facilities currently cater to the following sports:

Tennis

AIC Tennis Club – Have two hard court plexipave tennis courts with LED lighting.

A clubhouse and toilet facilities, loads of free parking and a safe and secure fenced area for children.

AIC Tennis Club welcomes players of all ages and abilities.

We offer club competitions and Tennis North Inter Club Competitions and social tennis.

Becoming a member of AIC Tennis Club enables you to participate in these competitions as well as complimentary court hire for the year.

Courts are available from 9am to 9pm, 7 days per week. (excluding competition sessions).

Soccer

The AIC is a training ground of the Launceston City Soccer Club. Launceston City have Men’s and Women’s teams across many age groups from Junior 8-15 years, Under 17s and Seniors.

Indoor Bowls

The Australian Italian Club Indoor Bowls group boasts a membership of 45+ who play every Monday afternoon from 1:00pm. It is a social group available to participants of all playing abilities. However, the club also provides the opportunity to enter tournaments around Launceston in which our members have enjoyed quite a few successes.

If you are interested in playing, come along and introduce yourself, you’ll find that they are a happy lot, that really enjoy their bowls and the occasional outings.

Pool & Darts Teams

The Australian Italian Club are currently hosting NTSDA Darts Competition on Wednesday evenings and the NTDA Darts Competition on Thursday evenings. We also host regular Pool competitions.

Boxing & MMA Club
